ESMT is the partner institute for Germany of the WEF for the Corporate Gender Gap Report, which surveyed some of the world’s largest companies to assess the current state of integration of female talent in business.
The survey spanned a total of 20 countries and 16 industries. The report concludes that "despite evidence regarding the importance of women’s economic integration and even as the global economy’s dependence on knowledge industries and knowledge workers grows, country-level data show clearly that there are still discrepancies between the job opportunities and wages available to women and those of their male counterparts." At ESMT Andreas Bernhardt, Konstantin Korotov, and Katharina Lange led the project.
