Ulf Schäfer

Ulf Schäfer was a tutor of Philosophy and Logic for many years and after graduation lectured game theory and decision theory at the University of Bonn. Later he worked as a strategy consultant for A.T. Kearney, co-founded the strategy consulting firm The Launch Group (TLG), and after the acquisition of TLG became Director and Head of Strategy Consulting Germany of Business- and Technology-Consultancy Sapient.

Before joining ESMT in September 2005, he was Head of IT-Strategy, Architecture and Communications of DaimlerChrysler Services. Ulf has 10 years professional experience in strategy, post merger integration, and IT-Strategy. Ulf teaches consulting skills, strategy, and leadership sessions in ESMT’s MBA and Executive Education programs.
