Developing Leaders has been designed in co-operation with senior HR executives to take your organization's leadership development to the next level. Together with ESMT faculty, you will explore the foundations, key success factors, and methods necessary to build and sustain excellent leaders. Meet the Faculty

Bülent Gögdün (Program Director)

Bülent Gögdün has experience in strategy development, change management and executive coaching. He has previously been employed as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.


Derek F. Abell
Full biography

Derek F. Abell is the founding president and professor emeritus at ESMT. Before joining ESMT, he was a professor of strategy and marketing at IMD, as well as a professor of technology and management at the Swiss Institute of Technology. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years as a faculty member at Harvard Business School.

Andreas Bernhardt

Andreas Bernhardt is a program director, executive coach and founding member of ESMT’s Center for Leadership Development Research and manages ESMT’s pool of executive coaches. He has about 20 years of practical leadership development and coaching experience, has been working as a leadership coach for ESMT, for the INSEAD Global Leadership Center in Fontainebleau, France and beyond and has designed and delivered executive programs for several international companies.

CB Bhattacharya
Full biography

C. B. Bhattacharya, PhD, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, is a full professor, E.ON Chair in Corporate Responsibility, and dean of international relations at ESMT. Prior to joining ESMT, he was a full professor and Everett W. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar at Boston University.

Konstantin Korotov
Full biography

Konstantin Korotov, PhD, INSEAD, is an associate professor at ESMT. He also plays an integral role in ESMT‘s Center for Leadership Development Research. Konstantin consults companies worldwide on issues of leadership development, executive coaching, and mentoring.
