Derek F. Abell
Derek F. Abell is the founding president of ESMT and professor emeritus at ESMT. Before joining ESMT, he was a professor of strategy and marketing at IMD, as well as a professor of technology and management at the Swiss Institute of Technology. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years as a faculty member at Harvard Business School.
Jamie Anderson
Jamie Anderson is visiting professor of strategic management and holds a permanent professorship at Tilburg University in Holland. His current research interests focus on business strategy in technology markets, industry convergence, and strategies to serve low-income consumers in developing markets.
Zoltán Antal-Mokos
Zoltán Antal-Mokos is full professor of strategy and associate dean of degree programs at ESMT. Before joining ESMT, he was director of BUESPA, the Budapest School of Management and associate dean of faculty of business administration and gained his PhD at LBS.
C. B. Bhattacharya
C. B. Bhattacharya is a full professor and E.ON Chair in Corporate Responsibility at ESMT. Prior to joining ESMT, he was a full professor and Everett W. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar at Boston University.
Gonzalo Chávez
Gonzalo Chávez is associate professor of finance at Bentley University, USA and visiting professor of finance management at Instituto de Empresa, Madrid, Spain. He is conducting research into financial markets, corporate ethics, and the measurement of trading costs and analysis of corporate governance issues in emerging and developed markets.
James G. Clawson
James Clawson is the Johnson and Higgins Professor of Business Administration at the Darden School of Business. His research addresses leadership, change, career management, and management development.
Laura Guillén
Laura Guillén joined ESMT y as an assistant professor in September 2010. She received her PhD in Organizational Studies with a specialization in organizational behavior from ESADE in 2007. From 2008 to 2010 she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at INSEAD.
Harald D. Hungenberg
Harald Hungenberg is the head of the management department of Friedrich Alexander University, Erlangen. His areas of expertise are corporate and business strategy, managing strategic change, and innovation.
Rajshri Jayaraman
Rajshri Jayaraman is an assistant professor at ESMT. Prior to joining ESMT, she was assistant professor, and academic coordinator, at the Center for Economic Studies (CES) at the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and received her PhD in economics from Cornell University.
Martin Kupp
Martin Kupp is head of the practice group Technology-based Industries and member of the faculty at ESMT. His research interests focus on strategy, innovation management, and business market management.
Zhike Lei joined ESMT as an assistant professor in January 2009. Previously she was a professor at George Mason University's School of Management. Zhike’s research interests broadly center on understanding how individuals, teams, and organizations build safety and reliability by systematically managing and learning from error and failure.
Niall Lothian
Niall Lothian is a professor for accounting and control at Heriot-Watt University, a member of the visiting faculty of ESMT, INSEAD, and a former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Urs Müller
Urs Müller is head of the practice group Consumer Goods and Retail at ESMT. His areas of expertise include strategy, marketing, change management, and ethics. Before coming to ESMT, he worked as management consultant for A.T. Kearney.
Matthew Mulford
Matthew Mulford is a senior research fellow at LSE, an affiliate professor at HEC-Paris, and visiting faculty at ESMT. His research interests include the psychology of judgment and decision making in interdependent interactions, negotiation analysis, experimental game theory, and experimental research design.
Lars-Hendrik Röller
Lars-Hendrik Röller is president of ESMT. Before joining ESMT, he was the first chief competition economist of the European Commission. Lars-Hendrik Röller is the president of the German Economic Association, a panel member of the European Research Council, Non-Resident Senior Fellow at BRUEGEL in Brussels, Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London, and a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Scientific Council for Transatlantic Cooperation.
Ulf Schäfer is a program director at ESMT. His teaching focuses on leadership challenges and change. Before joining ESMT Ulf worked for Universität Bonn, A.T. Kearney, and held managerial positions at Sapient and DaimlerChrysler.
Erik H. Schlie
Erik Schlie is associate dean and professor of marketing and general management at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, he holds visiting professorships at ESMT and the University of Cambridge.
