The MARGA Experience

Compete with the best. For more than 35 years, the MARGA management training has enabled both executives and junior managers to continue their education at the highest level. MARGA’s undisputed strength – competitive learning – is now incorporated into a comprehensive program.

Take a seat in one of the directors’ chairs and run your own company with a team of 3–6 persons. Four teams make up a market in which you compete directly with each other. You plan and coordinate all divisions of your company and you realize your strategy by means of your decisions on an operational level. Your success as a member of the board is simulated by a very realistic PC program.

Team Analysis

MARGA company A is losing money this year. Company reports and support software show the causes: too little utilization of capacity and stagnating revenues in some segments. It is also necessary to analyze macro-economic trends and customer requirements, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the competitors.

Strategy Meeting

You discuss various approaches to the problem and decide on a strategy for the value enhancement of your company. The consequence for the current fiscal year: a price reduction on two products should lead to an increase in turnover and better utilization of capacity. The MARGA support software circumstantiates the positive effect of your marketing decisions.

Crisis Management

Reality outran you! Controlling figures are available: the company value is continuously depreciating. Main reason: competitor B provokes a price war and captures market segments. Team A runs a new analysis and discovers wasted potential: an effective cost management concerning both supply and production enables team A to react to the prices of team B and thus they can regain lost territory.

Optimize your strategy - round by round. The learning effects appear when you experience the consequences of your own decisions. If your team manages to effectively increase the company value, you will keep the upper hand and might
