Registration

Please join only once. Registering more than once or under different names will disqualify you from further participation and we will not be able to use your responses.
By joining, you will be added to a list of potential participants and may later be randomly selected to participate in a study.
When selected to participate in online study, you will receive a customized link through which you can complete the study only once. Each online study session may include up to five short different studies but in total will not last longer than 30 min.
When selected to participate in an on-campus study, you will receive an email with schedule of available slots for participating in the study, so that you can choose the suitable time for you to participate in the study.
Typically our studies involve questions about ordinary life situations. You may also be asked to complete small and easy tasks such as games or puzzles.
You may choose to remove yourself from our panel at any time. Likewise, the lab reserves the right to remove participants from our panel at any time (e.g., if completing the same study more than once or failing to finish studies repeated times).

ESMT strictly follows the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG).
All information we receive from you will be kept strictly confidential.
Under no circumstances will we release your data to third parties.
Only the lab manager will have access to your registration information.
The data (your responses) will be completely anonymous and only used for research/academic purposes.
ESMT researchers includes our professors and professionals, research assistants, PhD Fellows, and academics of our subsidiaries.
These researchers will have access only to your responses; they will not be able to link responses to individuals.
