Library
The Information Center Library (ICL) is serving scholarly research and educational purposes at ESMT. It provides access to a wide range of printed and electronic resources.
The ICL collection is under constant review and reflects the current study and research interests of the school. It holds books, audio-visual materials and reference works on economics, strategic and international business management, marketing, finance, accounting, organizational behaviour, ethics, competition policies, technology management, entrepreneurship and statistical, country, company and industry data. Research databases and e-journals and online resources can be accessed at the library computers and print copies of academic journals and magazines are also available.
All of the IC print and electronic resources can be searched through the online IC catalogue. The collection is growing daily and offers users an overview of important literature in the business management field.
Special collections include a case study archive, ESMT publications, a teaching materials repository, and course materials for degree programs. A small repository library have also been established at the ESMT campus in Cologne.
The library is equipped with study desks, outlets and network plug-ins for laptops, to ease individual study work. There is W-LAN access across the campus. The library boasts a lounge where users can sit and leaf through the latest periodicals. The ICL is located on the first floor of the campus building. It was formerly the Diplomats' Chamber of the state council of GDR, where receptions for guests from around the world were held. It has a magnificent view of the Schlossplatz.

The ICL co-operates with a number of other libraries, including the Hertie School of Governance (HSoG) Library and Information Services. Through the co-operation print materials on public policy, politics and law are also available to ESMT patrons. The HSoG collection catalogue can be searched here.
