For prospective students
From the very beginning until the end of the Full-time MBA program, and even beyond you will be exposed to ESMT’s corporate network.
ESMT was founded by 25 companies with an international focus. These companies realize what an MBA graduate is worth. In addition to the close working relationship with ESMT’s founding companies, Career Services invites the recruiters of international companies from all industries to connect with ESMT participants.

Career services: your professional assistance
Career services will help you to develop your skills and career opportunities by putting your thoughts into action. During the entire MBA program, you will have professional assistance in reaching your future goals.
In cooperation with participants, recruiters, alumni and career counselors, Career Services facilitates:
Company Presentations
International (founding) companies from many industries inform you about their recruitment needs.
Recruitment Days
(Founding) companies come on campus to network with you during lunch, group sessions, presentations and/or individual interviews.
Personal counseling
Unique for ESMT is that we offer MBA candidates the opportunity to meet with a dedicated career counselor on an individual, regular basis. He will help you set your mind in making the right steps regarding your career after graduation.
Mentors
Most of the founding companies offer one or more students a corporate mentor. The mentor acts as an advisor and shares his/her experience with you. He/she might even open professional doors for you. Students are also linked with an internal ESMT mentor. This can be a professor or a consultant from ESMT Customized Solutions.
Job-posting Platform
International recruiters advertise their career opportunities on the ESMT job-posting platform, exclusively accessible for ESMT Full-time MBA students.

You will have free access to many interesting websites like TOPMBA Careers, Career Leader, WetFeet and Vault. Please see the link at the bottom of the page to Berlin Partner's database of employment opportunities in Berlin.
CV Book

Working in Germany post-MBA for non-EU citizens
Germany is open to allowing talented and educated people to remain in Germany to work. In contrast to other EU countries such as the UK, where visa regulations are becoming more difficult for those who wish to remain there after studying, MBA graduates from outside the European Union are allowed to remain in Germany for up to one year (12 months) after graduation during their job search. Once the student receives a signed job offer, they are entitled to apply for a work permit. In our experience, once the job offer has been received, the process of getting a work permit has been relatively straightforward.
Career Services is focused on your success, and you have your success in your own hands. We are very much looking forward to working with you!
