A refresher and update program for MBA Alumni
New technologies are developed at a rapid pace in many industries, and are critical to stay abreast of competitors. It is often not possible to hold all the necessary capabilities inside an organizational unit, such as R&D, or indeed within a particular company. Most technologies have become increasingly complex and require knowledge and experience distributed across units and organizations. It is thus imperative for leaders to develop innovation teams that are capable of working across functions and organizational boundaries effectively.
In this program we will focus on how organizations can strike the balance between developing internal capabilities and collaborations with external partners. Moreover, we take a deeper look at the roles members play in various teams, including those formed to innovate. Finally, we integrate perspectives by discussing strategic leadership challenges in the pursuit of innovation and execution.
