Scholarships
ESMT European School of Management and Technology is offering a number of merit-based scholarships for applicants to the Executive MBA program beginning October 2012.
Scholarships will be allocated on the basis of intellectual excellence, evidence of personal and professional achievement and evidence of strong leadership potential as well as superior interpersonal skills.
The scholarships are restricted to self-funded candidates and will be accounted for against the applicant’s program fees.
Applicants must meet ESMT’s general admission requirements.
Global Women’s Scholarship
ESMT offers special-tuition scholarships to female candidates for the Executive MBA program 2012-2014 who demonstrate outstanding professional and academic merit.
Amount of scholarships available: three
Value: up to € 28,750
Eligibility: Female candidates who have been accepted either to the ESMT Executive MBA program and who fully rely on self-funding. Candidates must demonstrate financial need.
Requirements: The scholarship will be granted to those female candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential, as displayed in essays submitted in the completed online application and supporting documents, as well as a strong performance in the admission interview.
Tagesspiegel Diversity Scholarship
The German daily newspaper Tagesspiegel and ESMT are offering a partial scholarship for applicants from Germany who are first, second, or third generation immigrants to the country.
Amount of scholarships available: one
Value: € 40,000
Eligibility: ESMT places a strong focus on diversity in the composition of faculty and student body. As managers who come from diverse backgrounds are still under-represented in German industry, we aim to support talented and experienced managers with a migrant background on their way to leadership positions.
Requirements: Applicants are requested to send their CV as well as a motivation letter on how they expect the ESMT Executive MBA program to contribute to their future. Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete the online application.
ESMT Americas Scholarship
ESMT awards one prestigious scholarship to an outstanding male or female candidate applying from a Latin or North American country.
Amount of scholarships available: one
Value: up to € 28,750
Eligibility:- Candidates with permanent residence in any South, Central or North American country
- Candidates are expected to prove their strong intention to promote business development and pursue professional options in Latin and/or North America
Requirements: Candidates are required to submit a scholarship essay along with their complete application to the ESMT Executive MBA program. Candidates will be expected to actively promote the school in the respective regions throughout and after their studies, e.g., by participating in the ESMT mentoring program.
ESMT Central and Eastern Europe Scholarship
ESMT awards one prestigious scholarship to an outstanding male or female candidate applying from a Central or Eastern Europe country.
Number of scholarships available: one for Executive MBA
Value: up to € 28,750
Eligibility:
- Candidates with permanent residence in a Central or Eastern European country: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria
- Candidates are expected to prove their strong intention to promote business development and pursue professional options in Central and Eastern Europe within a reasonable timeframe after completion of the program.
Requirements:
Candidates are required to submit a scholarship essay along with their complete application to the ESMT Executive MBA program. Candidates will be expected to actively promote the school in the respective regions throughout and after their studies, e.g., by participating in the ESMT mentoring program.
ESMT Africa Scholarship
ESMT awards one prestigious scholarship to an outstanding male or female candidate applying from an African country.
Number of scholarships available: one for Executive MBA
Value: up to € 28,750
Eligibility:
- Candidates with permanent residence in any African country
- Candidates are expected to prove their strong intention to promote business development and pursue professional options in Africa within a reasonable timeframe after completion of the program.
Requirements:
Candidates are required to submit a scholarship essay along with their complete application to the ESMT Executive MBA program. Candidates will be expected to actively promote the school in the respective regions throughout and after their studies, e.g., by participating in the ESMT mentoring program.
ESMT Middle East and Central Asia Scholarship
ESMT awards one prestigious scholarship to an outstanding male or female candidate applying to either program from a Middle Eastern or Central Asian country.
Number of scholarships available: one for Executive MBA
Value: up to € 28,750
Eligibility: Candidates with permanent residence in Afghanistan, Armenia, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, Uzbekistan, or Yemen.
