1 - Berlin: Auditorium Maximum
The Auditorium Maximum is the largest room in the former East German State Council building. It is now used as a classroom, for graduation ceremonies, as well as for conferences and other events.
3 - Berlin: Garden
Especially in the summer, the garden is a nice place to sit with colleagues after work or lunch. With its geometrical beds and lawns, the garden is an example of East German modernism.
5 - Berlin: Library
The panoramic view from the library is breathtaking, overlooking the historic center of Berlin with the Museum Island and Berlin Dome as well as the huge construction site of the Berlin Palace in view.
7 - Schloss Gracht: Drawbridge
In the 13th century Schloss Gracht was built as a moated castle. A drawbridge was constructed in 1717 to protect the castle‘s residents from enemies.
9 - Schloss Gracht: Library
The castle library is a place for literature and education. The library’s foundation was laid by the noble family of the Earls Wolff-Metternich.
2 - Schloss Gracht: Heritage-protected bar
The recently renovated bar stands under heritage conservation. Once a cattle barn, the bar now is a perfect meeting place for program participants after a day's work in the classroom.
4 - Berlin: View from Learning Center
The diverse views from the ESMT Learning Center across the historic center of Berlin are impressive. One of them features Berlin's television tower, which is only a 10-minute walk from ESMT.
6 - Berlin: Auditorium II
The first full-time MBA program in ESMT's history started here on Monday, January 9, 2006. The room is part of the former ballroom and continues to serve as "home" to ESMT's full-time MBA participants.
8 - Berlin: View from office building
The view from the first floor of the office building in Berlin includes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and looks across the ESMT garden.
10 - Schloss Gracht: Terrace
This spacious terrace near the bridge to the mansion offers program participants a place to rejuvenate. The terrace is also used for open-air course sessions.
