Currently ESMT Competition Analysis GmbH is seeking economists at various levels of seniority. A strong quantitative, microeconomic background is required for all posts. Sector specific industry knowledge is welcomed in particular on network industries. Fluent German and English skills are a must.
Research assistant
- student of economics (microeconomics and / or econometrics)
- on an hourly base
- in charge of literature research, data gathering and processing and organizational work
Economist
- postgraduate degree in economics
- ambition to apply and to develop skills
- capability to work deadline-oriented
- basic knowledge of standard software
- strong empirical / econometric background a plus
Manager
- a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in a relevant field of microeconomics usually required
- at least 3 years of working experience in a relevant area
- proven ability to manage complex research / consulting projects
- strong empirical / econometric background a plus
Econometrician
- profound knowledge of statistical software, in particular STATA
- experience in requesting and handling of large data sets
- knowledge on panel data & empirical IO
