Peter Jarnebrant

Assistant Professor

Peter Jarnebrant joined ESMT European School of Management and Technology in September 2009. He holds a PhD (2011), a Master of Philosophy from Columbia University (2007) as well as a BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Yale University (2004).

Peter was a fellow of the American-Scandinavian Foundation and of the Olin Foundation, and in 2007 he was awarded a fellowship with the American Marketing Association’s Doctoral Consortium.

Peter’s research interests lie in particular in the area of decision making, investigating how the processes consumers use to acquire and store information from the decision environment influence the choices that they make. His work has implications for areas such as the management of pricing and promotions, and has been presented at several international conferences.
