Konrad Stahl

ESMT Visiting Faculty

Konrad Stahl is a professor (em.) of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Mannheim. He held the denominated chair from 1986 until 2010. From 2003–06 he was the head of University of Mannheim’s Department of Economics. He regularly teaches at Tel Aviv University, and has taught at Berkeley, the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, amongst others. From 1976–86 he held a chair at the University of Dortmund.

Konrad Stahl teaches university students, MBA students, and executives in the areas of general economics, industrial organization, regional economics, and corporate and business strategy. His current research field is industrial organization and corporate governance.

Konrad Stahl was a long term editor of Regional Science and Urban Economics, and has led various national and international research groups in his field.
