Uta Wilkens

Uta Wilkens is professor of Human Resources and Work Processes Management at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Institute for Applied Work Science, since 2005. Since winter 2008 she is also prorector for teaching at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. From 2006 to 2008 she was director of the Institute for Applied Work Science. She held the chair in Personnel Management and Organization Studies at Graduate School of Business and Economics at Lahr from 2004 to 2005.
Uta Wilkens is member of various research groups and responsible for research projects founded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Her research fields are competence management, employability, psychological and implicit work contracts, change management and human resource management.
