For self-funded candidates, ESMT offers partial-tuition, merit-based scholarships for top EMBA applicants. ESMT awards scholarships based on academic excellence, personal and professional achievement, particularly strong leadership experience, and outstanding growth potential. Scholarships for the Executive MBA are applied directly to the applicant’s tuition.

To receive a scholarship, Executive MBA applicants first complete an online application to the Executive MBA program. Self-funded EMBA applicants are automatically considered for any available scholarships.

30% Club / ESMT EMBA Women’s Scholarship

30% Club / ESMT EMBA Women’s Scholarship

The 30% Club is a global gender diversity campaign which aims to increase the number of women on boards, and throughout the pipeline.  It started in the UK in 2010 with a goal of achieving a minimum of 30% women on FTSE-100 boards - currently the figure stands at 26.1% up from 12.5%. The 30% Club aims to develop a diverse pool of talent for all businesses through the efforts of its Chair and CEO members who are committed to better gender balance at all levels of their organisations. Business leadership is key to the 30% Club mission, taking the issue beyond a specialist diversity effort and into mainstream talent management.
ESMT and the 30% Club are committed to addressing gender imbalance and to helping more women reach influential positions. The 30% Club/ESMT EMBA Scholarship has been established to encourage and support outstanding women who are aspiring towards more senior leadership roles.

Number of scholarships available: One

Value: up to € 28,750

Eligibility:  Female candidates showing proven senior leadership experience in the public or private sectors.

Requirements:  Candidates should complete the scholarship essay as part of their ESMT online application explaining how they qualify for this scholarship.

Allianz Scholarship

Allianz Scholarship

ESMT Executive MBA scholarship recipients will be selected based on their influence as social impact multipliers. The ideal recipient manages or holds a strategic position in an organization dedicated to the advancement or empowerment of future generations and underprivileged communities. Applications from women are specifically encouraged.

Number of scholarships available: Three full tuition scholarships and a small stipend to cover travel to and from Berlin for each module

Eligibility: Scholarship seekers should be strong candidates for ESMT's EMBA program. Scholarships will be awarded to those who function as Social Impact Multipliers.

Requirements: Candidates should complete the scholarship essay as part of their ESMT online application explaining how they qualify for this scholarship.

Alumni Network Fellowship

Alumni Network Fellowship

The ESMT Alumni Network awards this full tuition scholarship to an outstanding applicant with solid work experience in the non-profit area, including but not limited to working with NGOs.

Number of scholarships available: one

Value: Full tuition and fees

Eligibility:  Interested candidates must first be accepted to ESMT’s EMBA program and express their interest in the scholarship when applying. In addition to a first degree, applicants must show several years of work experience in a non-profit organization and be committed to returning to the non-profit world.

Regional Scholarships

Value: up to 50% tuition

Requirements: Candidates should complete the scholarship essay as part of their ESMT online application explaining how they qualify for this scholarship.

 

ESMT Africa Scholarship

Number of scholarships available: two

Eligibility: Candidates with permanent residence in any African country. Candidates are expected to prove their strong intention to promote business development and pursue professional options in Africa within a reasonable timeframe after completion of the program.

 

ESMT Americas Scholarship

Number of scholarships available: two

Eligibility: Candidates with permanent residence in any South, Central or North American country. Candidates are expected to prove their strong intention to promote business development and pursue professional options in Latin and/or North America.

 

ESMT Central and Eastern Europe Scholarship

Number of scholarships available: two

Eligibility: Candidates with permanent residence in a Central or Eastern European country: Estonia, Latvia,  Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria.

Candidates are expected to prove their strong intention to promote business development and pursue professional options in Central and Eastern Europe within a reasonable timeframe after completion of the program.

 

ESMT Middle East and Central Asia Scholarship

Number of scholarships available: two

Eligibility: Candidates with permanent residence in Lebanon, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar

The German newspaper Tagesspiegel and ESMT are offering a partial scholarship for applicants who have founded their own start-up or have a solid business plan in place for a future start-up. ESMT places a strong focus on entrepreneurship and fostering an environment for graduates to build their own companies. With this in mind, we aim to support a diverse pool of talented and experienced managers on their way to leadership positions.

Scholarship Value: € 40,000, reducing the total program cost from € 57,500 to € 17,500.
