MBA Student Life

MBA clubs: Expand your network

MBA networking doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom.

ESMT’s clubs are student initiatives that begin with a desire to get directly involved. Through each club’s contacts, students have a unique opportunity to compliment and develop their MBA experience. Each club at ESMT was formed by students’ proposals and a desire to create something new and useful for the future ESMT students. ESMT clubs are therefore unique groups where theory meets practice and where students can take an active hand in their educational experience.

Entrepreneurship Club

Mission

The ESMT Berlin Entrepreneurship Club (EPS) allows ESMT students and alumni to exchange ideas, support and experience around all subjects related to the entrepreneurial environment. Its purpose is to allow for members to get first hand insight into all phases of the lifecycle of a company, from the business idea to market penetration and establishment all the way to the IPO, acquisition or insolvency. Through discussions with members of the entrepreneurial community the EPS has built a strong network within the community and gives support to entrepreneurs taking the risk of founding.

Our Goals

  • Network – Grow the network within the entrepreneurial environment. This network is available for members to contact and covers relevant contacts for different phases of a company’s lifecycle
  • Mentorship – All members of the EPS act as mentors by openly sharing experiences and their network and offering help in business decisions
  • Angel Investment – Guide members to actively invest in startups and ideas by providing angel investment training through Leapfunder and organizing an annual angel round table
  • External events – Organize and initiate events at companies and startups for interested members
  • Internal Events – Communicate all internal events related to core interests of the EPS organized through ESMT, the student body or GTEC among the members
  • Inspiration – Share relevant information and interesting articles on entrepreneurial subjects
  • Incubator – the EPS has a cooperation with the digital incubator Queens & Bees which is available to all members
