Georg T. Becker
Dr. Georg T. Becker is a senior researcher at the Digital Society Institute of the EMST Berlin where he is performing industry supported research in the area of IT-Security. Before joining the DSI he was working as a Post-Doc in the Embedded Security Group at the Horst-Görtz Institute for IT-Security at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Dr. Becker received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014. He holds an MSc degree in IT-Security (2009) and BSc degree in Applied Computer Science (2007), both from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
Dr. Becker research interest covers a wide spectrum in IT-Security with a special focus on Hardware Security, including Hardware Trojans, Side-channel analysis, Physical Unclonable Functions and IP-Protection.
