Benedikt Meyer-Bretschneider is a student in the Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics & Management Science and was awarded an Einstein Foundation stipend.
Benedikt obtained his Master's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of York. Prior to this, he studied Business Economics at Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz and at Macquarie University Sydney, where he received a Master's degree in International Business. Benedikt gained professional experience at the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, the United Nations Global Compact and the European Commission. His current research interests lie in the areas of Behavioral Economics, Experimental Economics, Industrial Organization and Environmental Economics.
In 2018, Benedikt was visiting scholar at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.
